Mohamed El-Sayed, known professionally as Medzone, was born on April 18, 2006. His roots trace back to Alexandria, although he was born in Cairo and has lived between Cairo and 6th of October City. He is considered one of the rising voices in the contemporary Egyptian rap scene and is known for his artistic slogan, “Medzone da El-Tomouh” (“Medzone the Ambitious”), which has become an integral part of his artistic and visual identity.

 

Early Life and Beginnings

Medzone grew up between Cairo and 6th of October City, while his family origins are from Alexandria Governorate. He developed an interest in rap at an early age and began his first recording attempts in 2019. However, he faced several obstacles, including the theft of his personal accounts, which caused interruptions in his artistic journey at various times.

 

Artistic Career

Official Beginning (2023–Present)

Medzone officially launched his career in early 2023 after signing with the music production and distribution company Sawt El-Hob.

In 2025, he republished his older works on YouTube as part of an EP titled 2022.

In 2024, he briefly announced his retirement through his personal accounts before returning strongly in 2025 with his first official release after the comeback, titled 3 Thanwy (“Third Secondary”).
